Just in time for Father’s Day, June 15th that is, YSL Beauty US launched a limited edition of it’s latest L’Homme fragrance for men by Jean Nouvel. It is said only 100,000 bottles will be made.

Jean Nouvel is a French Architect and the 2008 Pritzker Prize winner, who has designed objects as varied as armchairs, champagne buckets, and chocolate bars. via a Vanity Fair article.

The new bottle design is inspired from the shape of a test tube. Inside the bottle the YSL Cassandra logo is afloat adding a unique signature to the project. The outer packaging is a block of black dense foam, wrapped with a cardboard sleeve which emphasizes Jean Nouvel and L’Homme Logos.

According to YSL Beauty Official US Store, the new YSL L’Homme Limited Edition fragrance is a fresh, woody fragrance playing on contrasts. A bright and sparkling freshness with a magnetic and sensual trail. Bergamot-Ginger-Vetiver. SRP: $79.50 for 3.0 fl. oz.
